Hotel Sully

It was not open to tour the interior, but the small, back outside courtyard was lovely, with the homage to the mole, and singing birds seemingly frolicking in the walls of ivy. This is where I spied my "ship."
Also the bookstore at Hotel Sully has a small section of guide touristic en Englais! Sully was a prominent political figure with King Henry IV, primarily involved in civil engineering projects and finances. The word "hotel" in France can refer to any gathering spot for people, so a hotel can be just that, an place to rent a room to sleep, but is also the term used for a city hall, Hotel de Ville, mansions,  Hotel du Sully, and memorials, Hotel des Invalides.
A ship or Absinthe?
