Sunday at St Sulpice

Another rambling day. In the am we took off for St. Sulpice. We had read in Rick Steves that the organ concert's revelry was well worth a journey. True. We stood queued up with all the other RS followers but delighted in the concert. And great views from the organ loft. So often you cannot reach that upper level of the churches visited.

We then followed his latin quarter tour backward. We had thought to take our break at Cafe de la Palette, but found it over crowded and over priced, no 5 euro cafe there. Would have been better to stop at one of the cafe's along  Rue Buci, which may be named for Debussy.

Outside St Mich

We found this great little band outside of St Mich, even bought their CD. We tried to go to the Museum of Textiles, but there was an incredibly long line, so after Erin referenced her "list ofthings to do" we opted for Petit Palais, free and open and that's good at 5 pm. Then read our books in a nearby park bench till 7:30. Late light.
A short walk a la maison and here we are trading photos, and blogging.

I am back to Clinic St Jean tomorrow.
